Today on Notcot I tripped on to Peter Gronquist's work. He has quite a jaw dropping show at Gallery 1988 in Venice right now. I had seen his "designer" guns years ago - the idea was definitely clever and stuck with me. It's all ablout the glamour and gold.

If you haven't seen Herb and Dorthy yet check out the trailer below. It was definitly one of my favorite movies the year it came out. Such a surprising unsuspecting couple with an incredible art collection! ...and just a beautiful story. Now the creator of that documentary is making another film (hopefully) and her kickstarter is above. check it out.

Alexis Mackenzie
I love these collages by Alexis Mackenzie. The typography is just so intricate I can't stop staring. She makes me want to cut up botany and anatomy books- I haven't collaged in a while... might do some today.
